TDM Systems names DSI as a value-added reseller

TDM Systems, the Schaumburg, Illinois, provider of tool data management systems has appointed Desarrollo de Sistemas Informáticos (DSI) as a value-added reseller of TDM software in Mexico.

DSI, founded in 1989, has a complete portfolio of solutions for companies looking to be part of the transformation towards Industry 4.0 manufacturing. DSI covers both Mexican and Latin American territories for some of the products the company markets.

“We’re delighted to announce that DSI will be a reseller of TDM products and solutions. They will be a great partner to our strategic vision for Mexico,” said Gregg Bigleman, PhD., TDM director for Latin America.

Jorge Sánchez, director general of DSI added, “The TDM Systems lineup of tool data management systems supports our efforts in contributing to the fulfillment of our customers’ objectives of incorporating information technologies in the digitization of their processes."

TDM Systems, a member of the Sandvik Group, focuses on process optimization through optimal tool planning and provisioning. The company’s Tool Lifecycle Management strategy is the IT strategy for production equipment. It includes tool organization in all phases of the workflow: from planning to production. The company’s core competencies are creating and editing tool data and graphics, integrating tool know-how and 3D graphics into the CAM planning and organizing the complete tool cycle on the shop floor.
