CoroMill 316 Exchangeable-Head Tools

April 01, 2010

New integrated toolholders from Sandvik Coromant Co. are compatible with CoroMill 316 exchangeable-head (EH) tools. When all machining variables are the same, integrated holders with an EH coupling provide shorter total programming length and higher stability compared to cylindrical-shank toolholders, according to the company. With modular tooling possibilities, the holders can be used in numerous tooling combinations and machine tools using a smaller inventory of standard items.
