Donaldson developed the Downflo Evolution Pre-assembled (DFPRE) Small in response to customer demand for an even more compact, convenient, and reliable filtration system for multiple manufacturing applications.

The DFPRE 2 is the first in a series of compact collectors; the numerical designation (DFPRE 2) identifies the number of filters in the unit. The collector was engineered to effectively address a variety of dust types and airflow requirements thanks to robust combustible dust mitigation options, an optional integrated spark-reducing inlet, and multiple fan motor options.
