Richards Micro-Tool has introduced the "Q Ball" line of 3-flute carbide end mills for metalcutting applications. Q Ball's new core and edge design features improved shearing ability while maintaining cutting-edge strength, resulting in a smoother entry and free-cutting action, as well as faster chip removal and improved finish.

A new 3-flute center cutting, eccentric relief design allows for higher feed rates for most materials. Richards' Q Ball carbide end mills are available with a ¼" shank diameter, with end mill diameters ranging from ¹⁄₃2" to ¼". Specialty coatings are available.
