Precision Cutting Tool Inc.'s solid-carbide Hi-Depth Long Drills are for making holes 40 to 50 diameters deep. The through-coolant drills have self-centering capabilities for peck-free machining, according to the company. The combination of their coolant-hole geometry and parabolic fl utes permit high machining parameters and effi cient chip evacuation, according to the company. The SXC series is for drilling stainless steel and the AXC series is for drilling aluminum.
