The PACKOUT Tool Tray features Stack or Store functionality, providing modular connectivity with any PACKOUT solution and storage within the Rolling Tool Chest, Rolling Tool Box, XL Tool Box, or the Large Tool Box. In addition, the Tool Tray has a customizable internal layout with Quick-Adjust Dividers, creating up to six separate storage compartments and allowing users to configure the layout that works for them. With a metal reinforced handle and a 25lb weight capacity, the tool tray can easily transport tools and materials around the jobsite, in transit, and in the shop. 

Machining three diameters in one operation, the stator bore tool ensures the alignment and concentricity of the machined surfaces whilst reducing the cycle time significantly. The lightweight 3D printed combination tool enables a faster tool change and spin-up even on less powerful machines. With the ZOLLER Interface in CAMWorks, tool data is standardized and the exchange of data between the two software systems is automated. Customers only need to enter the information for their cutting tools in once into the central ZOLLER tool database and the tools are imported automatically into CAMWorks. All of the tool parameters are captured, including contour line for holder and cutter, specific tool type, and technology data, such as feeds and speeds. The interface also allows users to define tools in the ZOLLER TMS Tool Management Solutions software with the same tool types and parameters that are being used in CAMWorks.

Effectively used for hard turning, gear grinding, drilling, milling and more, COMOT-AZ provides low deformation clamping of thin-walled workpieces and offers a large selection of standard collets available in round, square, hexagonal, and special configurations when needed for virtually all sizes of spindles.

The WCE platform includes four-flute, square-end and ball nose end mills with both straight and Weldon shanks and is available in both metric and inch dimensions. The WCE5 five-flute geometry will be released later in 2022. Orders for the WCE4 end mill, as well as other WIDIA metal cutting tooling, can be placed through WIDIA authorized distribution partners.

For applications where stock aluminum, stainless steel or PVDF won’t work, other material options such as CPVC or glass filled PEEK thermoplastic have been used. Morph, Parallel, Along Curve, and Project Curve are no longer individual toolpaths in Mastercam 2023. Instead, the Unified toolpath allows access to these cut patterns when you add the appropriate curves. For example, to create a toolpath that morphs between two surfaces, select Unified from the Multiaxis toolpaths, and then set the Cut Pattern to two surfaces with the Morph style.

The Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Vacuum Accessory seamlessly attaches to the Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine, allowing for live vacuuming to increase chip evacuation and decrease clean-up time. The vacuum accessory allows for better material visibility, decreased iteration time, decreased clean-up time, a smoother, better finish and helps maintain the life of end mills.

SigmaNEST Version 22 introduces a number of UI enhancements, such as options to change the sheet names in the feature tree, granular control over hatching density for reporting visibility, and multiview layout sequencing. Users can also select the correct Machine Bed Drawing directly from the Machine Parameters Config menu to see their stock in relation to the bed size and slat locations.

The economical, easy to use WPS Mini features manual Zero Point clamping that attaches directly to the workpiece, provides maximum holding force of 25 kN and highest repeatability of <0.005 mm. Single quick actuation provides rapid open and closing of the module with only a 270° rotation.

Not only are the vacuums durable, but they are also the most versatile Wet/Dry vacuum system on the market with interchangeable vacuum tanks, motorheads, and carts. With the interchangeability for varying performance, holding capacity, and mobility, the system can adapt to any jobsite.

The arm provides an optimal leverage position with a consistent application of force. It also offers more clearance over the table for broaching and pressing large items. It is counterweighted for rapid handle return. The rugged steel ram, driven by a machined pinion, is reversable  with one end solid and the other end has a hole and magnet to hold bits and tools.

By incorporating cordless technology, Milwaukee improves the clean-up process with the M12 AIR-TIP Utility Nozzle. Powered by an M12 REDLITHIUM Battery, the power brush roll agitates debris for deep cleaning applications. For increased productivity, the tool allows for more clean-up in one pass compared to a standard floor vacuum attachment. In addition to performance, the universal accessory is built with an LED light for increased visibility in low lit environments.

With filtration to 50 microns, the machine sump remains free of contaminants, pumps are protected from damage, and only clean coolant recirculates through the machining process. This reduces maintenance costs, extends both tooling and coolant life and improves machine uptime.

To prevent insert waste and easily detect wear, the gold-colored TiN outer layer of the Dragonskin multilayer CVD Ti(C,N)/Al2O3/TiN coating acts as an indicator. It not only enables users to clearly identify insert wear and index before a breakage, but also prevents sharp cutting edges from going unused and the insert being inadvertently discarded. Plus, a mechanical post-coating treatment produces beneficial residual stress in the coating that results in increased process security, especially important in the large-volume production situations typically associated with turning ISO-P steels.

The DMH drill head geometry is designed to protect drill corners and provide effective chip evacuation, making the drill head suited for applications that involve drilling holes through thin plates. The increased cutting edge strength resists thin-plate snapback and wear from exit burrs, preventing drill edges from fracture damage during machining for minimum machine downtime. The strong cutting edge also makes the DMH drill head suitable for drilling extremely hard metals.

Compared to mechanical, roller or ball bearing based linear stages and rotary stages, air bearings are friction free and wear free and generate no particles during operation, making them clean-room compatible and ideal for dynamic, 24/7 duty cycle automation applications. In an air bearing stage, the moving platform glides on a thin film of air. This principle also is responsible for the surface averaging effect that significantly improves geometric performance such as straightness and flatness in linear motion applications while reducing runout and wobble in rotary tables.
