Marameter 844 K
The Marameter 844 K probes form a comprehensive modular system that includes measuring heads, driving needles, measuring holders for indicators or probes, depth extensions, right-angle attachments and setting rings. Made of hardened steel, the new Marameter probes are ideal for bore measurement at the point of manufacture, offering extremely long life.
MIXO Modular Pneumatic Connection System
The system's metal pneumatic contacts can permanently withstand the constant pressure of 10 bar. The contacts can be mated up to 10,000 cycles when installed with HNM (High Number of Matings) series enclosures and frames for modular units, and up to 500 cycles when installed with MIXO frames and standard enclosures.
SYNCREX Machines
These new Swiss-type machines use a collet plus single-motor ball spline drive for heightened accuracy and reduced material waste. A 10,000 rpm spindle and a variable vibrating system ensure the utmost in stable, repeatable performance. SYNCREX machines accommodate a maximum of 35 tools in a standard configuration: 22 static and 13 live.
MVR-Hx Series of Double-Column Machining Centers
The MVR-Hx series was developed based on the concept of a machine that is easy to use without thermal displacement for users who pursue high precision and high efficiency. It is equipped with thorough thermal countermeasures, such as an internal spindle cooling system that suppresses thermal expansion of the spindle and the main structure that is less susceptible to environmental temperature changes.
Rollomatic Group appoints group applications manager
Rollomatic Inc., a subsidiary of Rollomatic Holding Switzerland, has appointed Jeremy David as its group applications manager for both the Rollomatic and the Strausak brands.
LaserUltra
The 70% reduction in measurement time compared to Laser Plus is achieved through the new Analog measurement. The Analog measurement is a continuous edge scan instead of number of digital points along the cutting edge. This process also eliminates variations caused by machine standing idle, errors due to manual wheel corrections and the requirement of skilled operators.
TungTurn-Jet Toolholder Systems
The toolholders feature a coolant outlet built in the body. This streamlined design is more effective than conventional through-coolant toolholders that have an adjustable coolant nozzle or bulky nozzle assembly. With reduced number of parts, the new toolholders expand the TungTurn-Jet range with an economical option that can contribute to customers seeking further tool cost reductions, while maintaining effective chip control and maximum tool life.
WESTEC 2021 Booth Visit: Carmex Precision Tools
Watch an overview of the latest products and technology from Carmex Precision Tools as presented by Leonard Ahumada, an applications engineer and the company's Western regional manager. Cutting Tool Engineering recorded the booth visit during WESTEC 2021 in Long Beach, California.
Strausak names national sales manager
Kris Zellmann has been named national sales manager for Strausak Inc.
MVR-Cx Series Double-Column Machining Centers
The MVR-Cx series is a simple, easy-to-use machine that efficiently performs single-item and high-mix low-volume production in machining general large parts such as can structures. The newly developed "Nidec Navi" operation support function, which significantly reduces the production time from receiving a job to shipping a product, comes as a standard feature.
Aluminium Hand Knob Range
The hand knobs are ideally suited to machine builders, especially those involving aluminium frames where the new hand knobs will help maintain low machine weight. Light weight also makes them ideal for applications within industries such as aerospace.
