The HS flex heavy handling system is designed to be adaptable to five-axis PERFORMANCE-LINE machining centers (C 400 and C 650) as well as the HIGH-PERFORMANCE-LINE models (C 32 and C 42). This also marks the first time that the C 650 is available with automation capabilities. 
Hermle Machine Co. offers a new machine to the North American market. The C 650 is an extension to the Hermle Performance Line series, and the machine builder now provides three machine models for economical 5-axis machining.
Hermle's newest automation solution is the HS Flex. Attractively priced, the HS Flex handling system is a powerful and compact automation tool, the company reports.
Hermle has introduced the C 250 as a complement to its existing C 400 unit (introduced in 2012), and offers yet another affordable way for customers to enter the 5-axis category while still delivering the precision required at the most demanding level of machining.
