Morph, Parallel, Along Curve, and Project Curve are no longer individual toolpaths. Instead, users can now find the same functionality inside the Multiaxis Unified toolpath, which allows for more flexibility in cut pattern when programming multiaxis, all within a new advanced feature set and consolidated, easy-to-use interface. A new Feed Rate Control page consolidates the feed rate control options, making the options easier to find and simplifying your workflow.

With the new feature for creating generic revolved tools, operators can customize the shape of the cutting and non-cutting parts of the tool for all triangle mesh-based roughing strategies. Customized tools avoid over-simplifications because they take specific features of the tool shape into account during the toolpath calculation to deliver a realistic simulation of the material removal process.

Next Generation Shopfloor Programming (NGSP)

Built upon the ModuleWorks toolpath calculation and simulation technology and integrated directly into the CNC, ModuleWorks NGSP brings the graphic touchscreen environment of automated programming to the shopfloor, enabling machine tool operators to quickly build, simulate and run NC programs without in-depth knowledge of G-code programming. Because it is embedded in the control, NGSP has access to the tool library and physical parameters of the individual machine tool.

Virtual Showroom

A new AR function in the CAD configurator merges the digital world with the real world. Users such as design engineers configure 3D CAD models on their computers, smartphones or tablets just as they did before and then download them in various CAD formats. The configured CAD model can now be displayed in the video function of a smartphone or tablet using AR support. This makes it possible to project the digital 3D CAD model into the real world.
