The 360 Series Endmill from Precision Cutting Tools

Precision Cutting Tools has improved it’s 360 series endmill for 2019. The design consists of the eccentric OD, a sharp corner, a larger gullet and a ground 1° radial land. The series increases metal-removal rates and minimizes chatter. The endmill is ideal for aluminum milling applications. This tool also comes standard with our PVD Diamond Coating, Exxtral Carbon, for up to 3 times more tool life. All these characteristics lead to improved accuracy, higher speeds and feeds, machining longer DOC and superior surface finishes.

Challenging holemaking operations? No problem for KenTIP FS

KenTIP FS is suitable for many challenging operations. Chain hole drilling in steel is one of them. While KenTIP FS has four coolant holes — two at the tip and two in the chip gullet directly behind the head — the HPG geometry comes without front coolant holes. When drilling in steel it's important to concentrate on coolant delivery to the rake and take the heat from the contact zone between chip and rake surface. The new HPG geometry is especially designed for steel, and comes in the hew, highly wear resistant grade KCP15A.

Hurco Introduces New Control Feature -- 3D Import with 3D DXF Technology

Go from "solid to part" seamlessly. Eliminate extra steps. The newest control feature for both three and five axis machines from Hurco is the skills gap buster shops need.

  • Integrated CAD/CAM and tool path simulation
  • No need to enter feature dimensions -- simply click and cut
  • Transform Planes created automatically for easy 5-sided conversational programming -- no data entry required

Hurco’s 3D Import feature includes 3D DXF technology that now displays all CAD geometry, including splines and Z-depths.

CoroMill 178 and CoroMill 180 Cutters

A new power skiving solution composed of CoroMill 178 and CoroMill 180 cutters from Sandvik Coromant is being released to help automotive manufacturers complete gear and spline components in one setup on a multitask machine or machining center. Skiving processes are many times faster than shaping and more flexible than broaching, and are quickly becoming an efficient and flexible alternative for gear and spline production.

Walter M4000 - High performance made universal

M4000 is the universal system for all users who want to have as many options as possible when milling. The M4000 range can master all machining tasks with one type of indexable insert. Whether used in shoulder milling cutters, high-feed milling cutters, face milling cutters, chamfer milling cutters, T-slot milling cutters, porcupine milling cutters or routing cutters, the square system inserts can be used across the entire M4000 range. For routing cutters and porcupine milling cutters, the range also has an additional rhombic indexable insert.
