Machining (CNC)

This small machine weighs 42 pounds and ships in a Pelican case for ease of storage, transportation and portability. It can run off a regular electrical plug, battery or generator — for use at home, in the office, in the classroom, garage or workshop and even on the road (or camping on a mountaintop).

The TD 110 tool breakage sensor can be placed in the work envelope so that it is fast and easy to reach during the tool change. The inductive sensor can detect tools as they pass by while they are spinning at their operational speed.  Thanks to its rapid scanning technology, even very small tools made of HSS steel and carbide are detected.

The system comes with a choice of two different touch probes. The UWP45 is a 45mm diameter touch probe ideal for multi-axis machining centers and compatible with the Marposs T25, TT25, TT30 and T25P probe ranges. The UWP60 is a 60mm diameter touch probe that is suited for use on large scale workstations and vertical lathes. It can be configured for use with Marposs T25, TT25 and T25P probes with extensions up to one meter in length. 

ProShop SAFE is a managed encrypted file store (end to end, and at rest) that securely and seamlessly translates into the browser experience. User-definable File Access Security Groups (FASG) within the User Module of ProShop enable security administrators to define permissions of all folders and files within the file store, and provide read/write/execute, or forbid access, to any configuration of approved folders, subfolders, and files.

Robotmaster 2023 bridges the gap between CAD/CAM and robotics by enabling seamless integration between a user’s chosen CAD/CAM software and Robotmaster. This automatic integration eliminates the need to import and sync data for a 75 percent reduction in programming time. It also eliminates the programming errors that can happen when using a manual process.

Turn-Assist features an open-floor setup and area sensors to maximize operator safety and accessibility, while a pre-programmable FANUC robot loads blanks and unloads finished parts from the stocking table. Options are available that allows the robot to process shafts, rotate parts, and interface with a bar-feeder.

The ATC is a valuable addition to the 24R CNC router. The ATC is integrated into Tormach’s award-winning PathPilot CNC controller. Ideal for premium woodworkers and sign makers, the 24R is designed to accurately cut a wide variety of materials including woods, plastics, aluminum, and more. With an advanced control, rigid cast-iron bed, welded steel stand, water-cooled chiller, integrated vacuum table, and more than a 2’ x 4’ work envelope, it is the perfect choice for 2D and 3D cutting needs.
