TNC7 Control

At IMTS 2022, HEIDENHAIN will be entering a new chapter in shop-floor-centered manufacturing by unveiling the new TNC7 in North America (Booth #135716). This standard-setting CNC control supports users from initial design to final machining, from one-off jobs to serial production, and from simple slots to complex contours.

TungThread BX330 CBN Inserts

Turning threads on hardened parts can be a challenge when using coated cemented carbide inserts: the cutting edge rapidly wears out before finishing the entire thread profiles, inhibiting greater feed rates and D.O.Cs. to be applied for increased productivity. Of all Tungaloy CBN grades, BX330 provides the cutting edge with the most balanced combination of wear and fracture resistance, making the grade suitable for withstanding continuous and heavy cutting loads inherent in the thread turning method for hardened parts.

CNC Carbide Cold Saws

Its heavy-duty construction, combined with the CNC control, means greater rigidity with reduced vibration at higher cutting rates. The Carbide Cold Saws stand out for their exceptional accuracy, superior surface finish and increased blade life.

Spyral Saw Blades

Spyral saw blades cut in all directions, even sideways and backwards. They will cut in the direction of the feed pressure, which can make a significant difference when cutting without rigid fixturing. While other wire blades are limited to cutting only certain types of foam or require machinery that can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, our Spyral saw blade can cut a greater assortment of materials including foams as well as wood and many metals without requiring costly specialized CNC machinery.

RTX Roundtracer Extreme

New motorized sliding axis, detector and detector holder gives it the ability to change the stylus angle, making it easier to perform inside diameter measurement of thick workpieces while avoiding interference. Roundtracer Extreme features best-in-class speeds with a maximum of 100mm/sec with improved positioning accuracy and greatly reduced positioning times compared with conventional models.
