Milling Cutters

D27 Milling Head

The FISCHER D27 milling head is specifically designed for the most powerful, as well as long-tooled, milling applications. With the high power and torque output, the D27 milling head still maintains its sleek symmetric outline while being dynamic and robust. To ensure accuracy and repeatability, the unit incorporates direct optical encoders, dual motors and dual clamps on the A-axis. The D27 milling head is intentionally designed to utilize the maximum power and torque capacity of our FISCHER 275mm spindles for the highest chip removal rate.

AddForceBarrel

AddForceBarrel uses inserts whose cutting edges have a large-radius arc of either 20 mm (.787″) or 30 mm (1.181″), designed for semi-finish profiling of 3D surfaces. Just like the TungMeister’s barrel milling heads, AddForceBarrel provides much greater engagement area between the cutting edge and workpiece when compared with conventional ballnose end mills. Greater engagement area enables larger stepovers, which improves metal removal rates for reduced number of cutter passes and cycle times.

MP060, MP160 and MP260 Face

The MP060 face milling cutter with a great number of teeth (z) between 10 and 22, and with diameters from 40 mm, can be used for roughing and finishing large surfaces and flat shoulders. The MP160 (z = 3–4) and MP260 (z = 2–3) shoulder and slot milling cutters, with either cylindrical shank or ScrewFit adaption and diameters of 16–40 mm and 4–20 mm respectively, are suitable for smaller flat surfaces, for plunging (MP260) and full slotting, as well as, in the case of the MP160, ramping, drilling and re-drilling work. All three milling cutters are equipped with internal coolant supply and can be used with emulsions and minimum quantity lubrication.

TungForce-Rec 12

The coarse pitch cutters retain a prominent feature of TungForce-Rec that provides maximum tool rigidity during demanding operations. In addition, flutes on the cutter body are designed with large chip space to promote smooth evacuation, preventing chips from clogging during operations.

Turbo 16, Helical Turbo 16 Milling Cutters

Versatile Turbo 16 square shoulder milling cutters deliver outstanding results and process security with exceptional ramping capability. Optimized insert pocket angles enhance the cut and deliver outstanding surface finishes. With a high helix angle for smoother workpiece entry and exit, these cutters also feature efficient Next-generation Helical Turbo 16 milling cutters combine top performance with ease of use, benefiting from a comprehensive range of Seco insert grades and geometries for exceptional material removal rates (MRR) and extended tool life.

WCE Solid End Milling Platform

The WCE platform includes four-flute, square-end and ball nose end mills with both straight and Weldon shanks and is available in both metric and inch dimensions. The WCE5 five-flute geometry will be released later in 2022. Orders for the WCE4 end mill, as well as other WIDIA metal cutting tooling, can be placed through WIDIA authorized distribution partners.
