Milling

Fleury is specialized in the manufacturing of linear transfer systems consisting of six-side milling, turning, boring, grinding and assembly operations. The system is based on a modular, compact design, which has been and still is revolutionary for the manufacturing process in general.

MAPAL has introduced a milling program with pressed, radial ISO indexable inserts, thus completing the portfolio of standard milling tools. Up to now, the company has mainly focused on a milling program with ground, tangential ISO indexable inserts. These are used in particular for special applications, very large stock removal, unstable conditions or disc milling cutters.

Conventional machining of serrations on turned parts requires a separate process either while milling or broaching. Before either of these finishing processes can take place the parts generally must go through a cleaning process. With Schwanog’s broaching tool, manufacturer of serrated turned parts are able to use a completely new approach on a conventional lathe with C-axis, in a single operation, which eliminates the cleaning process.

SCHUNK Electronic Solutions is bringing two depaneling machines with large installation spaces onto the market: the SAR-1300-Mono-Smart and the SAR-1700. The machines mill and saw individual PCBs from a large PCB panel - the maximum panel size is 600 x 500 millimeters.
