DB130 Advance Solid-Carbide Microdrill

Walter has introduced the DB130 Advance, its smallest solid-carbide microdrill with diameters from 0.004 to 0.06 in. (0.1 mm to 1.45 mm). With a point angle of 118° and cylindrical shank, the drill meets DIN 1899 standards.

The new DB130 Advance delivers high precision and process reliability, thanks in large part to its micrograin carbide, a special grade that enables optimal cutting-edge formation for high-precision applications. Because of its large standard range, the DB130 Advance solid-carbide drill can be used universally in a range of ISO applications from steels and stainless to superalloys and hardened materials.

This new microdrill can find ready application in industries such as; general machining, watchmaking, automotive and food, as well as in die and mold. For diameters of 0.02 in. (0.5 mm) and above, the Walter DB133 Supreme solid-carbide drill are available.
