The Machinist APPrentice 2010 is an iPhone application from Smart Calculations LLC that solves math problems for machinists, programmers and engineers. The application's main menu offers four sections to choose from: milling, turning, references and math/conversions. With its basic calculations in each section, the application is a low-cost trial, according to the company. Smart Calculations also released The Journeyman application, which includes trigonometry, more conversions and a program that produces G code for thread milling.
