As jobsite safety is emphasized across the nation, it is crucial for users to have hand protection that is equipped with back-of-hand protection when working with heavy materials and equipment. However, higher performance ratings often lower glove dexterity, so understanding the application is critical when choosing a glove. To align with this initiative, all of our new gloves are equipped with enhanced TPR for protection to meet the ANSI/ISEA impact rating of 2 while still maintaining dexterity and mobility.

The latest additions include inserts with 0.8 mm (.032″) nose radius in versatile AH725 grade. 0.8 mm nose radius will provide the cutting edge with strength, preventing edge fracture for predictable tool life. In addition, AH725 enhances the insert’s wear resistance during machining of various materials, ensuring high precision and boosts productivity. 

The DP Technology teams are proud to announce the very first commercial version of ESPRIT that includes additive direct energy deposition (DED) cycles. ESPRIT’s additive capabilities are the product of the team’s more than 35 years of experience in toolpath generations, and they include the same intuitive user interface that users expect from the software. The product release includes 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis DED support. Combined with the subtractive processes and embedded into a single software, DP Technology brings a full spectrum of support to hybrid manufacturing.

DrillForce-Meister incorporates a unique seat design that enables easy and swift drill head exchanges, while maximizing the clamping security, making drilling easy on curved surfaces, inclined exits, or components with a stability problem. The seat is designed with a maximum possible contact surface to hold the drill head in place for secure stability during demanding large-diameter bore drilling with the IT9-IT10 hole tolerance.

Enhancements to the Page Manager have improved toolpath management. These include the ability to create named groups and functions for copying and modifying existing toolpaths, which speeds up the process of creating finish paths that use the same tool set-up as the rough paths.

BXA10 incorporates a crater-wear-resistant PcBN substrate and the latest multilayer PVD coating for edge toughness, enhancing the grade’s wear and fracture resistance. The latest development will provide improved productivity, tool life, and surface integrity in continuous to light interrupted cuts at high cutting speeds of drive shafts, gears, and other case hardened or induction hardened steel parts common in automotive industries.  

The improved frame rate of the ImageIR 5300 ensures that users can use this model to solve a wide range of tasks in industry and science. Their modular design consisting of an optics, detector and interface module makes it easy to adapt to a wide variety of measurement scenarios. The integrated process and trigger interface enables the infrared camera to be synchronized precisely with external processes for analyses – and in the case of the ImageIR® 5300, these processes can readily be connected at maximum speeds.

Using the combination of ESPRIT probing and CNC machines outfitted with touch probes, shops will enjoy increased throughput on existing equipment while reducing operator intervention. This benefit comes along with increases in part consistency and quality.

The exceptionally smooth yet hard coating improves surface quality, which, in turn, significantly reduces torque requirements. Intended for blind hole and through hole threads and thread depths up to 3.5 x DN in steel, it has also shown good results in machining cast iron and aluminum. The TC470 Supreme is offered in four variants: With or without lubrication grooves and/or internal coolant, as well as with radial or axial coolant outlet, optimized for long and short threads. 

Ideal for CNC machining applications, the SJL provides the highest accuracy for thin-walled and deformation-sensitive workpieces. Unique to the SJL is the ability to be switched from a 2+2+2 lever equalizing chuck to classic 6-jaw self-centering chuck depending on application requirements.

The LT360 is configurable and compact, consisting of a cutting head mounted on a 6-axis robot, and a working table with a work area of 1500 x 1000 mm.  For increased productivity, a  20 kg capacity handling robot and part holding table can be integrated. Available with a 2 kW or 3 kW fiber laser source, the cutting head features capacitive height sensing, allowing maximum freedom for cutting any three-dimensional profile in space to truly cut at 360° with an accuracy of ±0.15 mm (.006”) and a repeatability of ±0.05 mm (.002”).

The FPL is a very low profile (20mm high) flat pack mounting for size constrained applications.  The base is 30mm square, and the laser housing is 18mm x 18mm.  With the extended laser unit, the overall length is 45mm. The FPL laser diode module has been fitted with two different mounting options:  The 1- ¼-20 threaded mounting hole in the center of the base, or two M4 / 9/16” holes for through base mounting.

CAD analysis benefits from a new function which improves the suite of analysis-shading modes. Draft Analysis has been added to the existing Undercut and Accessibility shading, performing an on-the-fly analysis of the draft angle. This uses the same technique as in the undercut mode, but extended to more ranges. The colors and angular value of each range can be changed by simply clicking on the colors or numeric labels on the graphics toolbar.

The lathe’s small size and footprint make it an excellent option for machine shops needing a second-op machine or additional chuck. Every bed lathe is manufactured and tested to ensure it meets the highest quality and accuracy standards.

Because cleanliness is essential for accurate measuring, the cleaning module runs tools through an ultrasonic bath. After the bath, an airstream – adjusted according to tool length – then dries the tools. After the tools are cleaned and measured, the laser- marking module imparts static or dynamic data on to tool shanks or end faces.

Swissbit now offers an easy-to-implement safety system based on a long-lasting flash memory suitable for industrial applications. This way, hardware-based security functions can be implemented independently of the CPU and with high flexibility – even retrospectively. The PS-45u-DP-microSD card ‘Raspberry Edition’ encrypts the data and allows access only via a flexible configurable authentication function, which unlocks further access to the data carrier in the pre-boot phase. The number of permitted invalid access attempts can be configured.

The Centrifugal Disc Finisher comes in sizes ranging from 4 to 60 liters and most models come with a mobile frame, ideal for cellular & JIT production. A wide variety of additional features are also available including integrated ultrasonic cleaners, on board media storage, a direct compound feed system, and parts separation options.

Featuring a totally enclosed fan-cooled design in a cast iron frame, this proven design is suitable for indoor or outdoor installation in some of the most demanding environments and applications.  Rated as a 75 hp, 460 v, 1800 rpm electric motor, this innovative design delivers 95.0% efficiency at rated load with a near-unity power factor.  The NEMA 445T frame motor weighs about 1,920 pounds and draws just 170 amps at full load.

Greenerd will present unique hydraulic press application solutions at IMTS this year, including discussing an automated 30-Ton Gantry style hydraulic press which was built for an application requiring precise positioning of pins. A linear transducer mounted in the press cylinder enables a minimum depth to be programmed into the control to ensure proper pin depth has been achieved. The 25' long hydraulic press features automated gantry positioning with optical recognition of the distance between each set of pins to be inserted. The cycle can be initiated in autonomous operation where the gantry moves to each pin location and applies the set of tonnage on the pins.
