TCB now offers AH6225 grade inserts. This latest physical vapor deposition (PVD) coated grade features a high-hardness titanium-rich PVD coating, combined with a tough dedicated carbide substrate. Extremely reliable and versatile insert grade, AH6225 allows TCB to efficiently cut bores in all material groups, including steel, stainless steel, and exotic materials.    

DESTACO has designed its cobot tooling solutions for simplicity and ease of use with off-the-shelf availability via kits that feature all of the end-user selected accessories, along with the hardware and tools needed for installation, reducing the need to consult an application engineer. The Truing Parameters Calculator is the result of a 3-year collaboration between Rush Machinery, the International Grinding Institute, and Dr. Jeffrey Badger, the ‘Grinding Doc’. WDS Components’ castor range extension includes a new stud fitting design with an M12 size threaded shaft that extends installation flexibility. The stud fitting design joins the existing bolt hole style, as well as a variety of castors with a plate fitting attachment. The castor design also includes a swivel wheel action, making them easy to operate across various surface types, as well as a foot-operated brake mechanism.

The locators are available in quarter-turn on/off knobs, adjustable handle, cam handle and hex head styles, and are supported with receivers, covers and adjustable torque wrench.

The system recorder eliminates the ambiguity in diagnosing issues by recording all changes in their programming code for several minutes before and after an event takes place. Users can review the changes that took place in their code leading up to and after the event. In addition, the system recorder allows users to record the data visually, in video format, directly to the module to note environmental conditions that the code cannot see.

Riten can repair/restore to “like new” condition their standard centers and face drivers (as well as industry competitor’s products) for a fraction of the cost of new tools. If practical repair is not possible, trade-in is available for live centers and face drivers at significant savings for new standard Riten one. With competitors’ products, trade-in savings are estimated on a case-by-case basis.

The GT 342 enables machining of bars from 0.12” to 1.73” (3-44 mm) and can guide bars from 32” (800 mm) to 12’.6” (3810 mm) in length.  The new toolless channel design allows for partial changeovers of under 2 minutes with full changeover times of less than 7 minutes.  Once unlocked, the lower channels simply slide out while the upper channel remains the same for the entire bar diameter range.

The Zertivo 2.0 grades enable a 30 percent increase in cutting speed recommendations for the primary ISO P and ISO M application areas, as well as secondary ISO K and ISO S materials, thanks to their optimized flute shape, which offers effective chip evacuation. The grades designed for stainless steel machining come in two variants: one with internal coolant for improved temperature control and chip flow, and one without internal coolant.

Mastercam developers worked closely with Kennametal to enable users to import data on their most versatile and high-performance cutting tools, including GOdrillTM and Kenna UniversalTM solid carbide drills and a selection of HARVITM and KORTM end mills directly into Mastercam. The integration allows Mastercam customers to save significant time searching for desired tools and building tool assemblies.
