GMSi Group Inc. offers the Dowell VHR-500/600 high-precision, multiple-function grinding machine with a vertical and horizontal spindle. The vertical Y-axis spindle uses a pneumatic counterweight to reduce ballscrew and servomotor loading and make movement smoother and extend machine life. The horizontal spindle uses six ball bearings for heavy grinding.

Suitable for small shops, Palmgren's 6 x 12 bench surface grinder is an economical option because it has many of the same features found on larger units. The grinder’s Meehanite cast iron construction reduces vibrations while maintaining rigidity and accuracy.

ANCA’s EDGe-Spark erosion power generator controls the energy level of the eroding spark for optimal surface finish, material removal and cycle time. It also enables a double-ended HSK wheel spindle for eroding PCD and grinding carbide and HSS.

ANCA offers the FCP4 high-production drill grinder (FCP4). Producing drills from 0.8 to 4mm with the new technology provides an exciting opportunity for drill makers, with important efficiencies and cost benefits by manufacturing a complete HSS drill on a single machine, according to the company. From a blank piece of raw material, the FCP4 grinds the flute, relief and point, producing a finished drill.

The new JET three-wheel belt bench grinders are ideal additions to fabrication and machine shops for grinding castings or deburring and finishing ferrous and nonferrous metal workpieces.
