Machining (CNC)

Three- and Four-Sided Pyramid Risers

The engineered solutions offer three versatile mounting options. Direct-to-table uses t-slots, center pin and timing key, and is secured using t nuts and Socket Head Cap Screws (SHCS). QLS accurately locates and clamps the pyramid to a base element, such as subplates, using a combination of QLS shoulder screws and SHCS. Quick-Loc™ pallet systems use pull studs (spaced at the industry-standard 96mm pattern) to locate and clamp in a single step.

SURFCAM Traditional 2021

SURFCAM Traditional is designed to provide manufacturers with robust, flexible, and easy-to-use programming capabilities for 2-5-axis machining, in addition to turning and wire-EDM programming functions. NCSIMUL machining-simulation software can be used in conjunction with a wide range of CAM systems to verify and optimize toolpath, quickly switch NC programs between machine tools, and simulate machining operations.

Tool Monitoring Adaptive Control System, TMAC Version 3.0.

TMAC 3.0 has been completely redesigned with an intuitive streamlined user-interface that offers numerous configurations for viewing tool monitoring and sensor data.  The TMAC system processor now houses its own web server, making the HMI (human-machine interface) browser-based, which enables real-time monitoring from any network connected device. Users (with assigned permissions) have live access to all TMAC systems on a shop floor from a single browser.

CRYSTA-Apex V Series

Features a maximum measuring speed significantly faster than competitive CNCs. The combination of high speed and high acceleration dramatically reduces measuring time and cost. Users can set measuring paths for high speed scanning, 3D and active scanning of complex workpieces.

J Series Line of VMC Jigs

The line provides positioning accuracy and repeatability of +/- 1µm. A thermal compensation system employs sensors on the machine faceplate and inside the spindle to minimize the effects of temperature changes on part accuracy and cut temperature-generated displacement by 60 percent. This system also reduces Z-axis thermal growth and deflection by 30 percent. Cooling systems for slide way lubrication and ball screw cores stabilize axis feed precision.

GrindSmart Model 630XW machine

Boring bar grinding on the Rollomatic 6-axis tool grinding machines offers exceptional flexibility in comparison to conventional single-puropose grinders. With its 6 fully interpolating CNC axes and 6-station wheel/nozzle changer, the machine can easily be adapted for individual boring bar designs, both for short and long runs.

Norton Winter Ironclad Wheels

Norton Winter Ironclad Wheels offer several additional benefits including reduced downtime due to longer wheel life which extends time between setups.  There is less bluing of castings even towards the end of the wheel life. Promoting a cleaner, healthier work environment, the new wheels generate significantly less dust and odor compared with traditional bonded wheels.

Feed Unit and Controller Package

The MQ150SU is a sealed unit version of the company’s popular MQ150, featuring an internal synthetic lubrication system and grease packed bearings for long life and operation in any position. The feed unit uses a ball screw on the center line of a hardened, precision, 55mm diameter quill. It is precision ground, pre-loaded with zero backlash. An involute spline driven spindle uses EP7 high precision bearings and the unit features an HSK-32C Spindle nose supplied connection with clamping cartridge assembly.

Desktop CNC Milling Machine

The Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine is fast, easy to set up, and omes with software that allows for predictable outcomes, including automatic material location, effectively bringing aluminum prototyping to an accessible and affordable level that has not been seen in this category. Bantam Tools Milling Machine Software also supports a simple drag-and-drop integration with SVG files for 2.5D designs.
