Abtex Corp. produces a full line of abrasive filament deburring brushes and accessories that enable shops to take advantage of in-machine capacity. This reduces downtime and improves efficiency by eliminating the need for extra handling or a separate deburring center.
Abtex grit-impregnated nylon-filament disc brushes, combined with the company's Quick-Change arbors, let you replace brushes rapidly, in the machine. Standard drive arbors are optimized when swapping ready-to-run sets.
Abtex Hex-Drive brushes are available in diameters from 2" to 5", and are driven by either ¼" or 3/8" arbor stems. For larger machining centers, brush diameters from 3" to 10" can be run on Abtex Quick-Change arbors that have a standard shank diameter of 1".
Abtex embeds the fibers in a resin body to provide these deburring tools with increased durability and integrity.
Engineers in Abtex Corporation's application laboratory will evaluate your application and recommend the most appropriate brush configuration and mounting system.
