Wohlhaupter Corp. has upgraded its popular 019 boring head and made it "digital ready." The VarioBore head can be ordered with or without a docking port and associated internal electronics to accommodate the new Universal Digital Readout Module.

Adjustment accuracy to 0.0001" (0.002mm) on diameter.

A 0.098" (2.5mm) radial stroke adjustment.

Automatically defined cutting edge position.

Through-the-tool coolant supply for all integrated tools.

Capable of speeds up 30,000 rpm.

Boring bars are infinitely adjustable.

Provides manual balancing.

The new VarioBore head offers an expanded boring range from 0.016" to 5.984" (0.4mm to 152mm), plus outside turning capabilities.
