For OD clamping, the aluminum jaws can be machined to custom fit the workpiece. For ID clamping, the workpiece is placed over ID jaws, which expand outward using a tapered pin (available separately). The part repeatability is +/- 0.03 mm, and the jaw locating repeatability of +/-0.02 mm.

High pressure gases create high frequency turbulence when moving into an area with lower pressure, creating an ultrasonic or “white noise” sound that is beyond the range of human hearing. The ultrashort pulse laser marks in the deepest, matt and non-reflective black without generating significant heat input on the workpiece. Even through further processing steps, such as passivation, the marking remains reliably legible and corrosion resistant. Due to the very short pulses down to the femtosecond range, in combination with high pulse energies, the system marks various stainless steels, titanium and a variety of plastics.

E45 features a generous stage to handle large parts or a variety of smaller parts.

The goal of the program is to minimize machine downtime and the program’s process is simple. When a customer runs a machine until it fails, they can send in their damaged assembly for an engineering analysis to determine if Riten can refurbish/repair to “like new” condition−or build a complete new unit. Riten also encourages customers using the specials program to keep a complete spare assembly readily available in stock. The goal is to have one on hand at all times to avoid machine downtime during the rebuild process.

Depending on the tightening torque of the screw connections, JW Winco lists the axial extraction force, the radial torsional moment, and the rotation moment if an articulated axis is present. The connectors are designed to fully encompass typical construction tubes to create a nonpositive clamping connection.

Especially for milling aluminium alloys and plastics, Horn offers the indexable inserts with polished rake faces on all four edges from stock to counteract the formation of built-up edges. In conjunction with the positive chip breaker geometry, the sharp ground cutting edge produces a soft cut and high surface quality. The special grade is designed for use with the ISO N material group. The inserts can be used in all cutter body variants.

Since users are holding the part for the base, setups are dramatically reduced. Pole extensions allow users to raise the piece from the magnet surface making the top, inner and outer diameters fully machinable. This process dramatically reduces part distortion due to clamping with ZERO distortion and allowing for far more accurate part processing.

The aluminium collars are much easier to machine compared to steel. This more readily enables customization, a requirement if the collar needs to fit specific shaft designs or dimensions, either for retrofit or new machine builds. Along with this capability, aluminium shares a similar anti-corrosion performance to stainless steel, ensuring increased durability.

The exact adjustment of the damper, made of a carbide rod supported in O-rings, is made from the outside via an adjustment screw. Adjustment is achieved by fine-tuning the pre-tension of the O-rings. This allows the boring bar to be precisely set according to the vibration occurring in each application. As standard, Horn offers the tools from stock in the length/diameter ratios 5 x diameter and 8 x diameter.

The TechniDrill 2.00-30-48 has a gundrilling diameter capacity of 2 inches (50.8 mm) and a maximum gundrilling depth of 48 inches (1219 mm). It features a 30 horsepower AC spindle motor and two-speed gearbox to provide versatile gundrilling performance. The workpiece is counter-rotated via pneumatically operated 3-jaw chucks to increase the accuracy of the gundrilled hole.

The LH-600F now features a touch screen interface that allows for easy and intuitive operation, allowing users to measure with the press of a button or through touchscreen icons. The rotatable and adjustable display of the LH-600F also allows for use from both front and rear orientations as well. There are new output options including a Digimatic output that allows data to be sent directly to Excel or SPC software, wired or wirelessly, while maintaining USB and RS232C output capabilities.

With a fully automatic maintenance system, Vomat now makes the use of water-miscible MWF even more time- and cost-optimized. The system has a modular design and can be integrated into the respective conditions of each grinding system as required. The heart of the system is the fully automatic mixing and dosing system (MDS) with a tank size of up to 10,000 liters, which constantly regulates the defined ratio of water quantity and coolant concentrate with high precision.
