In the last couple of years, we started to think about how to make the interface feel natural and comfortable to the human eye.With its lightweight interface, intuitive design and machine-aware programming technology, SprutCAM X 17 becomes extremely easy to learn and use as a CAD/CAM software.

The MA230 Advance solid carbide milling cutting is for universal machining of steel, stainless steel, cast iron and high-temperature superalloys (ISO P, M, K and S workpiece groups) at the highest level. The MA230 Advance cutter is for high-performance roughing and finishing and enables reliable milling with an extremely high metal removal rate. The MA321/MA320 Advance solid carbide milling cutters were also developed for machining ISO P, M, K and S workpieces.

The V-TYPE lever's fixing flanges are engineered to be identical to those of traditional models, ensuring that new housings with the V-TYPE can replace the old version without affecting interchangeability or requiring changes to dimensions, flanges, or mounting positions. The V-TYPE lever is offered in both bulkhead and surface-mounted configurations, with a single lever available for size 44.27 and double levers available for sizes 57.27, 77.27, and 104.27.

WDS has further expanded its range of continuous hinges, also known as piano hinges. Originally designed for piano lids, these long, continuous hinge designs add stability as well as safety, preventing finger traps in a closing door. Originally stocked in 1.8m lengths for the customer to cut down to size, WDS now provides continuous hinges in various sizes starting from 1m, meaning they’re ready to be installed without modification. These hinges are available in stainless steel as well as zinc-coated steel.

SINAMICS G220 is the first drive to join the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, the Siemens-wide business platform for digital transformation. SINAMICS G220 drives are an integral part of the TIA Portal and feature a digital twin in Startdrive, the drives commissioning tool from Siemens. This allows the behavior of the drive to be tested and optimized before the hardware is available. SINAMICS G220 has an integrated web-server for commissioning which eliminates the need to install software or an app on a PC or mobile device. This saves time and makes drive setup very intuitive and extremely user-friendly.

The CNCs are integrated in the digital twin of SINUMERIK ONE (Run MyVirtual Machine), so that the appearance and operation correspond to the real control in every respect. In addition, the digital twin has been equipped with new features that simplify engineering and work preparation. Examples of the many innovations include a 3D option that offers support for a second channel, often used for robotic integration.

SIMATIC Robot Pick AI (robot skill) is a pre-trained, deep-learning-based vision software for advanced robotics applications like goods-to-robot order bin picking that provides out-of-the-box cognitive performance for selecting robust pick points (6-DoF grasp poses) for arbitrary "unknown" items at runtime.

Easy setup is assured with the electronic type plate on the 1FL2 motor and one-button tunning in the S200 drive. The integrated brake resistor and integrated holding brake control add to the functions in the S200 servo-drive. High durability is designed in with the coated circuit boards (3C2) in the S200 and IP65 motors with metal connection solution. Built-in under-voltage protection is further provided.
