With a choice of three stands and two lenses, OPTA redefines the entry point for users to benefit from Vision Engineering’s exceptional image quality, ergonomic design and ease of use.

At the core of Astorino is a 1kg payload, 6-axis robot with a structure and programming environment nearly identical to that of a Kawasaki industrial robot. Weighing only 12 kg and powered by a 110V outlet, the robot is adoptable to any classroom environment. The Astorino platform includes a built-in control system; dedicated firmware and software; Modbus TCP and USB/Ethernet communication, and safety functions such as E-Stop and safety brakes.

Available with or without a keyway, Stafford Weldable Flange Collars are ideal for attaching gears, pulleys, sprockets, and other devices. They come in sizes ranging from 3/8” I.D. to 3” I.D. and specials can be made in other sizes and from weldable 316 stainless steel. Other custom modifica-tions can include threaded bores, slots, grooves, and more.

The addition to the "TPW / EPW Type" series includes CBN inserts designed for high-speed cast iron finishing. In addition to the economical 2-corner standard insert, a wiper insert option is also available to achieve excellent surface finish. The insert grade is High-content CBN "BX480," which consists of densely bonded medium-grain CBN. This grade offers high hardness, toughness, and superior thermal conductivity, making it suitable for high-speed machining at cutting speeds (Vc) exceeding 1000m/min.

The expanded Tiger 2.0 lineup, includes the Tiger Ceramic 2.0 and Tiger INOX 2.0 portfolio of cutting, grinding and combination wheels. Tiger Ceramic 2.0 cutting, grinding and combo wheels offer a superior combination of life and cut rate for maximum productivity.

Both machines have two spindles and three turrets – two upper and one lower – for unequaled DONE IN ONEÆ part processing opportunities and high-volume throughput in single setups. The drum-style turrets provide 12 or 16 tool positions and rotary tool capability. Main machine spindles handle 4” bar stock while the second spindle is capable of processing bar diameters up to 2.992” (76 mm). The machine easily integrates with available bar feeders and workpiece loaders/unloaders for fully automated operations.

The INOX 2.0 wheels are designed for high performance when cutting and grinding high-value stainless steel parts. Premium aluminum oxide grains provide a smooth cut rate and consistent performance. Both Tiger Ceramic and Tiger INOX wheels are contaminant-free, so they are safe to use on high-value stainless steel parts.

The body of the hex head style (CTH) is made from a Grade 8 fastener (metric 10.9) steel with a black oxide finish. The round head type (AG) is made from heat-treated alloy steel with black oxide finish. The tool steel threaded style (HS) is made from M-2 high speed steel and hardened to Rc 55/58 with black oxide finish. The carbide-tipped threaded style (PG) is made from heat-treated alloy steel with black oxide finish.

Norton NORaX N889 belts feature an engineered, high-performance micron-grade aluminum oxide grain structured in a fine 3D pyramid pattern which is especially well suited for lower pressure (0-8 PSI) applications where belt flexibility is needed. The engineered abrasive slowly erodes during grinding, exposing new, sharp abrasive grains resulting in 2-5X longer belt life than conventional polishing belts, as well as higher quality finishes, faster cutting rates and an ability to reduce finishing/ polishing steps.

Engineered from the ground up, the OptiLine six-flute end mill features a premium substrate and advanced tool geometry. The end mill’s asymmetrical variable helix and variable index flute configuration ensures enhanced stability during cutting operations and includes chip splitters designed for applications involving 2.5 x D cutting lengths. Refined cutting edges and CERATIZIT’s Dragonskin coating technology improve chip control and reduce adhesion for longer tool life.

The MaxiMill – 211-DC has 60% longer tool life compared to tools with standard cooling. Further, despite the complexity of the coolant holes inside the tool body, the MaxiMill – 211-DC is compatible with standard adapters with through-coolant supply without requiring any standard coolant on the chip breaker.

V24 is all about performance. The 64-bit Preview Release demonstrates a drastic increase in nesting efficiency for our High and Ultra Performance time-based nesting algorithms, delivering much more efficient nests over the same time as a 32-bit system. In addition to core performance changes that will benefit all users, there are new features that will aid specific groups of customers using, punch, laser, routing and knife cutting technologies.

The Paradur® Ti Plus taps are for threading blind holes with a geometry specially developed for machining titanium alloys with a tensile strength of at least 700 N/mm2 using emulsion instead of oil. The Prototex® TiNi Plus tap is effective for through-hole threading. Walter specially developed the geometry to thread titanium and nickel-based super alloys (ISO S material group) with a tensile strength of 700 N/mm2 or higher using emulsion.

The bench lathe meets the requirements of prototype shops, home machinists, jewelry manufacturing, tool rooms  and fabrication and maintenance shops which need to turn small metal parts. Standard on the bench lathe are: 3-jaw lathe chuck, safety chuck and tool post guards, 4-way tool post, centers, chip tray and precision thrust and ball bearings in the head stock.

For faster, easier cleaning, the casting of the CUT 400 S Dedicated is designed so that tank water constantly runs down the interior sides of the work envelope, keeping them wet and preventing EDM residue from drying and hardening. This sticky residue also plays havoc with an EDM’s filter and drive systems. To prevent the residue from making its way inside these systems, water also constantly circulates through the new machine’s upper and lower heads.
