Advanced One Touch-Interactive Graphics Function (AOT-IGF)
With AOT onboard, a highly-intuitive graphical user interface provides step-by-step instructions that guide operators through the process of selecting material type, tooling, processes, and cutting motions for the desired part design. From there, the system then simulates the cutting process in a 3D graphical view before exporting the NC (numeric control) program. Using AOT to create custom programs allows shops to maximize their machine tool's full potential, while eliminating concern regarding correct program syntax.n
MarForm MMQ 500 Form Tester
The MarForm MMQ 500 is designed for speed. Its Z-axis vertical column allows movements with up to 100 mm/s—more than three times faster than conventional form measuring devices—for minimized cycle times. The newly developed automatic CNC centering and tilting table is a key factor in speeding up the total cycle time as it enables faster alignment than comparable models, thus increasing efficiency and productivity up to 75% faster than the market standard. This new centering and tilting table also features a high load-bearing capacity to enable the measurement of heavy workpieces, up to a mass of 80 kg (176 lbs.)n
RCN Angle Encoders
When paired with an EIB 5211 sensor box, these new RCN encoders will transfer the temperature of the encoder and a direct-drive motor to the control in use. This gives the user the ability to push the system to its thermal load limits which in turn increases production and cost efficiency.
Expanded Zero Point System (ZPS) Product Range
The first set of additions includes a choice of six different pneumatic subplates, each featuring pre-installed low pressure pneumatic clamping modules. The second set of additions is comprised of aluminum or steel fixture plates with pre-installed pull-studs.
TungBore-Mini
TungBore-Mini is a multifunctional drilling and turning tool line that integrates the capabilities of drilling, OD, and ID turning tools. Its unique XOMU insert features an innovative geometry incorporating a large inclination angle on the cutting edge that produces light cutting, compared with standard ISO positive turning inserts that are typically used for ID turning or boring operations. In addition, TungBore-Mini's insert and pocket have a dovetail interlocking design providing better insert clamping and stability than standard screw-down insert clamping, ensuring process security during various applications.
AH9130 Grade for DrillForce-Meister
AH9130, consisting of a PVD coating layer optimized for drilling applications with a dedicated carbide substrate, is the latest insert grade specifically developed to provide significant tool life improvements and more predictable wear patterns in hole making applications of ISO P (steel), ISO M (stainless steel), and ISO K (cast iron). 17 SMP-style inserts have been released in the latest grade, covering diameters from 20.0 mm to 35.0 mm (.787″ to 1.378″). In addition to Tungaloy's versatile grade AH725 which covers most ISO materials, AH9130 provides DrillForce-Meister with added process security and tool life improvements in ISO P, M, and K applications. n

EH Geometry
The stable cutting edge enables feed rates in the range of f = 0.25-0.4 mm/rev, during grooving and parting-off, which results in reduced machining time across multiple operations. Reliable chip evacuation and control is ensured by a special chip formation. High feed rates require a stable machine when grooving and parting-off, as well as secure clamping of the workpiece. Starting from a feed rate of 0.3 mm/rev (0.012"/rev), HORN recommends reducing the infeed for the first 3—4 mm (0.118"- 0.157") during grooving and parting-off.
Dual Force Precision CNC Machine Vises
The family of vises is ideal for applications requiring multiple vises to be mounted parallel to each other. Versatile, the vises can be mounted on their base or bottom or vertically positioned on their end. The vises are equipped with Palmgren's Dual Force so as to deliver workholding efficiencies by providing the strength and rigidity to hold parts securely and accurately.
