OKK VB53a Vertical Machining Center (VMC)
The OKK VB53a has several features for high rigidity and accuracy. A rigid machine base, wide size linear roller guide and fine pitch high-resolution ball screw increase machining precision. Enhancing positioning accuracy, a 0.05 micron resolution linear scale is offered. Soft Scale Cube technology features thermal sensors that monitor and compensate for any displacement in real time.
TungForce-Feed
TungForce-Feed features a large rake angle and positive inclination angle on the cutting edge that provide excellent chip control while reducing spindle loads and energy consumption. This allows a higher feed rate or greater depth of cut to be applied for improved efficiency and, by working in synergy with the cutter's high insert density design, produces 130%-150% gain in metal removal rates.

Contactless Inductive Coupler Systems
Standard couplers are axial couplers with threaded fasteners commonly used in sensor technology. With their method of fixing these are easy to install and are quickly integrated, thanks to their plug & play functionality. The built-in LED display notifies the user of the system's status at all times. Radial couplers for rotary applications are available with diameters of up to 280 mm and large internal diameters. An inductive coupler system consists of a stationary coupler and a movable mobile coupler.
