GTI PowerReader

February 15, 2016

GTI Predictive Technology, a subsidiary of GTI Spindle Technology based in Manchester, N.H., today announced the immediate availability of GTI PowerReader, the latest tool in the GTI Predictive Technology Tool Box. The GTI PowerReader allows users to optimize machine cycles to help increase output and avoid new capital equipment purchases, according to a GTI Predictive Technology news release.

The GTI PowerReader also enables users to add more cycles to their existing machining work flows.

The GTI PowerReader works by first reading the DC current signal to display machining/grinding cycle, then allows a user to load shape and cycle characteristics that can be used to optimize the cycle. Optimizations include coarse feed rate, grind rate, medium feed rate and dwell time between parts.
