NanoFeed

hi-feed milling performance for machining of miniature components and smaller part features. NanoFeed is a 20° hi-feed indexable insert design that will replace smaller diameter solid carbide end mills in many applications and offer great economy! Inserts have been designed with pressed-in coolant channels, directing coolant or air directly to the cutting edge for maximizing tool life! Inserts also have backdraft side clearance for straight-wall milling capability.

PVD Drilling WNN15 Grade

The WNN15 grade delivers outstanding process reliability and long tool life, even at extremely high cutting speeds. This means that it makes indexable insert drilling more cost-effective than comparable PCD tools with immediate effect. The indexable insert drills offer the advantage of multiple indexing which means that the tool can be used again immediately and with comparably lower costs and less time required. Worn indexable inserts can be replaced quickly and easily.

348 Inserts

348 inserts added to stainless steel turning grade series of AH6225, AH6235, and T6215. AH6225 is a first-choice grade designed to provide excellent machining performance in general stainless steel turning operations, extending from continuous to light interrupted cuts. AH6235 is another PVD-coated grade that boasts exceptional fracture resistance. T6215 is a latest CVD-coated grade, designed to ensure superior cutting performance during high speed, continuous cuts of stainless steel.

CTCP115-P (ISO P15), CTCP125-P (ISO P25), CTC135-P (ISO P35) Insert Grades

To prevent insert waste and easily detect wear, the gold-colored TiN outer layer of the Dragonskin multilayer CVD Ti(C,N)/Al2O3/TiN coating acts as an indicator. It not only enables users to clearly identify insert wear and index before a breakage, but also prevents sharp cutting edges from going unused and the insert being inadvertently discarded. Plus, a mechanical post-coating treatment produces beneficial residual stress in the coating that results in increased process security, especially important in the large-volume production situations typically associated with turning ISO-P steels.

PCD Turning Inserts

NS chipbreaker features a three-dimensional chipbreaker that is directly engraved on the PCD tip using the latest technology. This allows the generation of short chips during the machining of gummy metals such as aluminum and copper alloys, significantly reducing machine downtime due to chip associated troubles.

TungCut CBN-Tipped Inserts

TungCut CBN-tipped STH inserts provide the solution to these challenges with a completely new turning concept. In the shape of TungCut grooving insert, the new STH inserts perform finish-turning by feeding the insert sideways on the worked surface. Its CBN cutting edge features a unique wiper geometry: the frontal edge features an arc wiper of large radius. This generates superior surface finish in straight-line turning applications, while also allowing increased feed rates of up to 1.5 mm (.060″) per revolution with up to 0.1 mm (.004″) d.o.c.
