Key to the Electrak LL’s long-life architecture is a brushless motor, a high-load ball screw assembly, a brake solution that does not wear, and IP69K (static) and IP66 (dynamic) compliant sealing. This combination enables duty cycles of up to 100 percent, up to 600 km of travel life, and up to one million cycles – more than ten times that of electromechanical actuators without these features. The new configuration options for the Electrak LL augment its industry leading durability with advanced control, integration, higher voltage and higher speed options.

All the discs are now available with a resin fiber or cloth backing. The resin fiber backing helps reduce the pressure an operator must apply to the disc to maximize the cut rate. It also helps retain the grain on the disc, increasing disc life. The cloth backing offers a more comfortable disc that gives the operator greater control of material removal. The jaws of the exceptional Bench Vise swivel 360° on the base and can lock in any position. Made from 65,000 PSI ductile iron, the vise is 50% stronger than all gray iron vises and 20% stronger than competitive ductile iron vises.

The 30-tool magazine provides flexibility for milling and drilling applications. The machine accommodates BT-40 shanks and includes a precision cam drive that achieves ±0.08-mm (0.0032") positioning accuracy. The tool change arm is waterproof, preventing coolant from entering the arm during use. The T-shaped and L-shaped pins are available in pin diameter sizes of 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8". And metric versions of 5, 6, 8, 10,12 and 16mm. Skiving tools can be used in a variety of gear applications including the production of ring gears, shafts with internal and external splines and splined shaft profiles. EMUGE-FRANKEN Skiving Tools have no restrictions regarding the material to be machined and are highly suitable for the soft machining of internal and external gears, as well as hard machining. The skiving tools can be used on turning/ milling centers with B or A axes (swivel axes).

Thomson miniature metric ball screws accomplish this with a unique multi-liner return system that maximizes the number of circuits and loaded balls in the nut. A miniature metric system with a multi-liner return system, for example, deploys 168 balls in eight circuits to support 7.6 kN of static load, as compared to a single-liner design, which would use 84 balls in four circuits to support only 4.2 kN. Maximizing the number of balls within a single nut also extends the life of the system by spreading the load across multiple points.

The EZ-AutoCart machine tending solution enables machine shops to streamline machine tending with minimal effort; no-code automation empowers manufacturers to easily operate the EZ-AutoCart. Results include significantly boosting spindle time and enhancing overall machine efficiency.

The M5250 cutter is effective for milling steel, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals (ISO P, K, M and N workpiece groups), as well as materials with difficult cutting properties. Unlike other full-effective helical milling cutters, the XTRA∙TEC® XT M5250 can also be used for full slotting, shoulder milling, pocket milling and ramping. The positive rhombic basic shape of the face insert makes ramping possible.

Dillon Chuck Jaws can provide both standard and special pie jaws in 1.5mm x 60°, 3.0mm x 60°, 1/16th x 90°, and 3/32 x90° serrations, American standard and metric tongue and groove, and acme and square serrated key type mounting interfaces.

The MaxiMill – 211-DC has 60% longer tool life compared to tools with standard cooling. Further, despite the complexity of the coolant holes inside the tool body, the MaxiMill – 211-DC is compatible with standard adapters with through-coolant supply without requiring any standard coolant on the chip breaker.

The MT-S spindle gripper allows continued machined cycles by picking and placing finished components in a temporary part loading tray located within the machining area. The MT-S is stored in the tool magazine like any tool and engaged at the end of each cycle allowing continuous machining until the part loading tray is full. Advantages of the new gripper are no additional floorspace needed, lower initial investment compared to robotics, and fast training without extensive programing.
