The DeHoff G548-D4 is a 4-spindle gundrilling machine designed for high-volume production of gun barrels. Up to 48 barrels can be preloaded into the magazine holder, and lift-and-carry automation is used to load the barrels in and out of the fixturing.

The Nexturn SA-32PYII Swiss-style lathe is a 32mm machine that comes standard with an exchangeable rotary synchronous guide bushing. The You Ji VTL-1200ATC+C is a 49” table/63” swing vertical turning lathe with full C-axis and live milling for heavy-duty turning and milling of large workpieces from Absolute Machine Tools Inc. This heavy-duty, highly productive VTL weighs in at 72,600 lbs. and features a rigid vertical column and a Meehanite castings base, which is heavily ribbed for reduced thermal distortion and vibration damping.

HEIDENHAIN redesigned its LIF 400 family of encoders with several improvements. The updates to this exposed linear kit style encoder originated from listening to customer requests over the years, and now comes with much improved contamination resistance, among other enhancements. The new LIF 400 series has a position noise value of 0.6 nanometers at 1MHz and a low interpolation error down to +/-12 nanometers. Industries that could take advantage of this encoder are semiconductor, metrology, micromachining, and medical.

The LND-65D-S3 is an 11-axis mill-turn center that can often produce parts faster than conventional twin-spindle, multi-turret machines with up to five tools in the cut simultaneously. This machine has a bar capacity of 65mm (2.56”), maximum turning length of 475mm (18.7”), and employs independent 2-axis cross slides that can overlap each other and the turret.

The compact, high-precision Quicktech S-32 ATM 9-axis twin-spindle mill-turn center combines integral-motor main- and sub-spindles with a 190° B-axis milling head and a fast automatic toolchanger to maximize output of small, complex parts.
