Parylene is the ultimate protective coating, and is used for customers that require protection of equipment, components, and surfaces in a range of end-use applications. Parylene is a hydrophobic polymer which is lightweight and can be applied as an extremely thin homogeneous film. This film is absolutely smooth and totally transparent, and does not cause any unwanted effects such as surface tension and distortion. The coating provides incredible resistance to aggressive media and liquid hydrocarbons, and can also be used as a diffusion barrier to gases.

The system comprises an ultra-compact RMI-QE radio interface with an updated communication protocol, as well as major updates to the complete range of market-leading radio transmission probes. The new enhancements deliver significantly improved battery life, simplified set up, and remote diagnostics to all radio probes.

AddForceBarrel uses inserts whose cutting edges have a large-radius arc of either 20 mm (.787″) or 30 mm (1.181″), designed for semi-finish profiling of 3D surfaces. Just like the TungMeister’s barrel milling heads, AddForceBarrel provides much greater engagement area between the cutting edge and workpiece when compared with conventional ballnose end mills. Greater engagement area enables larger stepovers, which improves metal removal rates for reduced number of cutter passes and cycle times.

The APS Automation Cell is capable of delivering abrasive-to-part and part-to-abrasive applications, wet/ dry processing and uses a full range of abrasives such as coated, non-woven, thin wheel, bonded and superabrasives. 5-axis provides increased feature access with infinite probe angles: Infinite positioning guarantees optimal feature access, minimizing stylus changes, thereby improving usability over fixed-angled probe heads. 5-axis motion allows larger part access on the CMM by minimizing space required around the part for probe orientation.

The coarse pitch cutters retain a prominent feature of TungForce-Rec that provides maximum tool rigidity during demanding operations. In addition, flutes on the cutter body are designed with large chip space to promote smooth evacuation, preventing chips from clogging during operations.

The bundle combines the innovative technologies of three partners: AAEON provides the UP Squared Pro system with AI Core XM, an AI acceleration module including two times an Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ X VPU, Basler supplies the plug-and-play USB 3.0 area scan camera pulse including matching accessories, and MVTec contributes the easy-to-use MERLIC 5 machine vision software with deep learning technologies such as anomaly detection and classification. To maximize the use of the classification technology, users of the bundle can access MVTec's Deep Learning Tool software for easy data labeling.

The MP060 face milling cutter with a great number of teeth (z) between 10 and 22, and with diameters from 40 mm, can be used for roughing and finishing large surfaces and flat shoulders. The MP160 (z = 3–4) and MP260 (z = 2–3) shoulder and slot milling cutters, with either cylindrical shank or ScrewFit adaption and diameters of 16–40 mm and 4–20 mm respectively, are suitable for smaller flat surfaces, for plunging (MP260) and full slotting, as well as, in the case of the MP160, ramping, drilling and re-drilling work. All three milling cutters are equipped with internal coolant supply and can be used with emulsions and minimum quantity lubrication.

Like its predecessor, the new TNL12 features four tool carriers that can be applied to a workpiece simultaneously, albeit with significant changes to the machine’s kinematics. While the front-working attachment and counter spindle were previously arranged on a single slide, they are now housed on separate slides. This eliminates potential interdependence between front-end and counter spindle machining, allowing for much greater flexibility in programming.

The recently added couplings of aluminum and stainless steel include designs for positive and non-positive connections. Multiple bore diameters, various, stiffness and hardness levels of the coupling body as well as an optional keyway allow very specific customization to the given use case. In general, all couplings compensate for offsets and misalignments, accommodate runout error and axial motion, and dampen vibrations and impacts to varying degrees.

ANCA has designed a special dental drill loading kit including tailored RoboMate pallets for FX machines using a Fanuc 200iD robot loader. The pallet top allows a reduction of the insertion depth of the shank with an 8mm pocket depth, so that drills with only 10mm of available shank length can be loaded. The robot grippers have also been modified for the reduced thickness of medical tools. The medical gripper can accommodate Ø2-10mm x 100mm with a maximum head diameter of 14mm.

Elimination of the wear significantly increases service life and virtually eliminates adjustment and maintenance. A spring-loaded plunger assembly securely locks the guard in a closed position whenever the guard is in the operating position. When released, the guard hinges up, allowing instant access. The guard is made from strong, injection, molded high impact polycarbonate which offers clear and safe vision through body and visor.

With six machine sizes available, this series is capable of producing complicated shapes along with finer finishes, resulting in highly accurate workpieces.
