the PRAB Auto-Take Up automatically monitors tension using load cells on chain conveyors, including steel belt conveyors, drag conveyors, the PRAB ScrapVeyor, and more. The system is wired to a PLC control panel, which monitors tension and automatically tightens the belt to eliminate manual adjustments and downtime. It can be added to new conveyors or retrofitted onto existing models. If retrofitted onto an existing conveyor, the system can be operated using that conveyor’s original control panel. Automatic adjustments can be scheduled to be completed during low production times or shift changes.

This latest release of software enables the XK10 to take measurements at multiple points along each rail. The benefit of an increased number of measurement points is that the straightness of each rail is also measured at the same time. Parallelism between the rails can then be determined by looking at the difference in straightness at each point, giving a more accurate picture than a measurement of the overall angle between rails.

The Absolute Scanner was developed from the ground up for smart manufacturing applications that require high-speed scanning within automated cells and assembly structures located in-line, near-line or in the quality room. The AS1 delivers scanning accuracy within 50 microns in a 60 meter volume, handheld or automated, with an Absolute Tracker AT960 laser tracker. For small to medium size parts or products, the scanner unit can be mounted to any current-generation Absolute Arm 7-axis system for scanning and hidden area inspection with scanning accuracy of 16 microns within a measurement volume from 2 - 4.5 meters.

CNC Offset Manager runs on Windows and is networked to the Mitsubishi Electric CNC via Ethernet. It also has a feature that allows other automation software or systems to interface with the CNC to fully automate the offset management process, or make the changes from a central cell-management software. This allows software companies to interface their software with Mitsubishi Electric CNC for automation and remote offset management, and allows manufacturers with CNC equipment to automate their machine-tending CNC cells and testing or measuring equipment, or centralize the offset management operation so operators and floor workers can work more efficiently.

 VpCI-369 is an oil-based temporary coating that provides extreme corrosion protection in aggressive environments and is one of Cortec’s most-popular wet film corrosion inhibitors. It is an excellent option for protecting auto service parts and heavy equipment components before assembly. Since VpCI-369 is thixotropic, it can be mixed so that the product changes consistency to enhance sprayability for application with an airless sprayer. Once applied, it thickens so that it does not run off the metal. VpCI-369 can be tinted to blue, green, or other custom colors if desired to help workers detect sufficient product coverage.

This functionality allows the M 310 to be used as a drive unit for the MarWin Easy Roughness Mobile software, enabling another way to interface and control the M 310 while providing the complete functionality of the touchscreen unit on a PC. Direct connection to the PC is available via USB cable or Bluetooth adapter, replacing interface boxes that previously would have been required, and cutting implementation costs by half.

Flex Locator System consists of tapered pins and receiving bushings. In combination, these parts are designed to be mounted on fixture bases and plates to allow for highly accurate locating and positioning with repeatability of 0.01 mm. The E-709 compact digital piezo servo controller / amplifier and driver was designed providing 20kHz sampling rate, twice the power of its predecessor along with multiple times is positioning resolution. When used in image processing, scanning and microscopy applications, its advanced features such as high-performance linearization, high speed tracking, and PI's unique F3 capability (Fast Focus & Freeze) come in handy. When used with a fast objective focusing motor such as the P-725, the autofocus drive can be bumplessly switched from an external (focus) sensor to the integrated position sensor inside the focusing stage.
