This release features several improvements inspired by our user base. The undo feature was one of the top suggestions we received from customers, so we knew we had to get it into this release and we’re super excited to see it come to fruition.

The enhanced UR10e retains the small footprint, intuitive programming experience, uncompromising repeatability, commitment to quality, and trusted performance that Universal Robots customers have come to expect, but its increased payload capacity means that users can now do more.

A thick titanium-rich PVD coating with excellent thermal stability has been developed specifically for AH62225. This coating effectively prevents crater wear from developing on the insert rake surface. The grade’s top layer incorporates the latest titanium-rich nano-multilayer structure; its high-density crystal orientation enhances the grade’s hardness for superior wear resistance. 

The innovative roughing geometry results in smaller chips and low cutting forces, and a reinforced corner chamfer promotes additional strength for longer tool life. Designed for semi-finish profile and center cutting, the multi-flute design is constructed of ultra-fine carbide grade CR3 for high cutting edge stability and wear resistance. The tools also feature a new generation of PVD coating for High Performance Cutting (HPC) applications.

The Shop Tap pneumatic machine is a medium duty general purpose tapping machine. It provides variable mounting capabilities and has two different motor choices and a working area reach of 62 inches. It features a stationary bench, quick change tooling adapter and a vertical motor bracket.

Available in diameter sizes starting at 4mm, these Star Cutter drills are manufactured from a selection of more wear-resistant carbide grades than typically used in these applications, resulting in longer tool life. Additionally, special bolt-hole circles and coolant hole sizes assist in eliminating OD aluminum build up and aid in flushing chips away from the workpiece. The drills are available with various advanced coatings, and/or highly polished carbide to eliminate build up and reduce overall tool wear.

This low-profile nanopositioning stage (only 27 mm high (1.1”)) is maintenance free, and due to its non-particle generating drive and guiding principle, cleanroom compatible. It delivers 10mm (0.4”) of hysteresis-free linear travel of its 75x80mm (≈3x3¼”) moving platform while supporting up to 3kg (6.6lbs) loads. The air bearing guide guarantees straightness of 100nm and flatness of 0.5µm. High motion performance is achieved with an integrated voice-coil motor that achieves a max. velocity of 450 mm/s and acceleration of 20m/sec2, a great advantage in dynamic scanning and positioning applications.

Glass fibers as light as feathers; the smallest SMD components or micro-mechanical parts; sensitive battery components; plastic films; paper and glass - all can be handled by the ADHESO gripper. Gripping of automotive or mechanical engineering components of a weight of 33 pounds and more is also possible. Automated separation of breathable components is also feasible. With the ADHESO gripper, solutions can be tailored to each customer’s individual needs, creating opportunities that are as diverse as the applications themselves.

The Cell-U-Clean Cell Jet is a wash and blow-off machine in a small footprint of 5 ft. wide x 8 ft. long x 9 ft. tall. The work envelope is 36” Diameter x 24” High and comes with a variable speed table drive.  The Cell-U-Clean Cell Jet is constructed of all stainless steel and comes with a robot loading option. The new Cell-U-Clean Cell Jet comes standard with the industry leading 3-2-1 warranty.

Version 3.5 now provides even more powerful automated design-geometry adjustment and repair tools that can be used to correct and/or offset issues that stem from the manufacturing process itself. Moldmakers, casting shops, and additive manufacturing (AM, aka 3D printing) providers alike can employ the software to detect and visualize material and/or design defects or distortions—and then employ sophisticated capabilities to correct their CAD designs, compare values against nominal limits and ensure that final part quality meets applicable industry standards.

The LPMA revolutionizes modular laser process automation and promotes innovative, globally competitive opportunities for small to midsize niche manufacturers in the United States and Europe. LPMA series contains all beam delivery functions necessary to support the efficient operation of the laser, with integrated power measurement, beam diagnostics (option), laser attenuation, purge system, and quick optic change mounts. Customers will select configurations for bowl feeding, bin feed, pick & place automation, and machine vision. 

The G550’s unique machine concept includes a horizontal spindle position that permits the longest possible Z-travel path and optimum chip fall. The arrangement of the three linear axes offers maximum stability by minimizing the distance between the guides and the machining point (TCP). The G550’s tunnel concept allows the largest possible component to be swiveled and machined within the work area without collision – even with extremely long tools.

An unlimited number of worksheets can be created and used in a variety of ways – whether users prefer to create them per shift, by machine, day of the week, etc. In addition to the ability to drag and drop components or assemblies onto the list users can also import using CSV from MRP. When importing assemblies only the assembly name needs to be specified, with JOC Lite automatically exploding it down to individual components.

Glebar pairs the wider work wheel with an oscillating regulating wheel powered by servo motors to reduce setup time and improve sphericity. The slides can be programmed to finite positions through a touchscreen HMI. When an operator selects a job, the servo motors automatically adjust to programmed positions which reduces setup time.

Cor-Pak Stretch Hoods powered by Nano VpCI are the ultimate high-performance stretch hood films for corrosion protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The film is suitable for industrial use to stabilize loads and ensure pallet integrity for efficient packaging and delivery. This film is co-extruded using state of-the-art resins, offering superior strength and stretch characteristics as well as multi-metal corrosion inhibiting properties that only VpCI Technology can deliver.  UV stable and recyclable  Cor-Pak Stretch Hoods powered by Nano VpCI deliver puncture resistance and load holding, which allow a user to down-gauge, contain aggressive loads and produce a better package at reduced cost.

L-812 linear motion modules are available with travel ranges from 102mm to 610mm (4” to 24”) and easily configurable. Two linear modules can be combined to form XY-tables and with the availability of the brake, a vertical axis can be added for XYZ multi-axis motion and precision automation applications. A folded drive train further facilitates integration by reducing the overall length, installing the motor side-by side with the linear stage, instead of the more common inline construction.

The robot’s design includes a new arm structure, drive system and lighter main unit, which enables high speeds and a large working area. Its 1,460 mm reach is the largest in its class, allowing for installation flexibility and use in a wider variety of applications. The RS013N robot also leads its class in speed, resulting in reduced cycle times and increased productivity.

These bags take the protection of basic VpCI®-126 Film to the next level by adding an extra barrier against moisture and oxygen for enhanced corrosion inhibition during long-term storage or harsh shipping conditions. The bags can be vacuum-packed and are ideal for automotive build-ahead programs, all-time-buys, or other long-term metal storage applications.

Flexbar’s Visorguard-LED™ system is water and coolant proof and installs in minutes on CNC mills, conventional mills, drill presses and more.  The adjustable Flexbar® arm permits setting of the Visorguard shield at the correct height and angle for each setup, then locks rigid.  The special wing-shaped shield flips up to load a part and down for machining.  A special spring-loaded shaft allows the shield to stay put with no spring back.
