To streamline access to Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) and metadata, hyperMILL® 2021.1 offers a new import function that retrieves face quality information and metadata when importing CAD data from neutral or native formats, and attaches data to the imported faces in hyperCAD®-S, making the information available to hyperMILL® and its machining processes.

MeasurLink’s Collection Scheduler is a module that allows the user to track measurement collection times for multiple active or suspended runs on that Real-Time station. The module displays tiles for each run and shows several color stages based on checkpoints to keep measurements on track. In addition, an email can alert the supervisor if no measurement is started within specified time.

This Intellistat is activated with a comfortable, ergonomic short throw trigger which requires minimal effort. With an ultralow profile of 40 mm and extremely flat design, ZeroAct is ideal for any zero-point application especially those where the z-axis travel of the spindle is critical. The ZeroAct features rapid open and closing of the modules and simultaneous actuation with one simple twist of the wrist generating 15kN clamp force. Easily actuate workpieces onto a table or adapter with a low stack-up of 38.1 mm greatly increasing the z-axis travel.

The nodding head spindle and direct-drive B-axis rotary table allow the DHF 8000ST to handle a complete range of machining and turning processes from roughing to finishing in a single setup. The FORTiS design is built upon industry-proven RESOLUTE™ encoder technology and provides high resistance to the ingress of liquids and solid debris contaminants. It features an extruded enclosure with longitudinally attached interlocking lip seals and sealed end caps. The readhead body is joined to a sealed optical unit by a blade, which travels through the lip seals along the length of the encoder.

Athena was initially launched by iTSpeeX, LLC in the spring of 2018. Since then, the voice assistant—who interacts with machine tool operators via a machine’s existing control screen or a separate display—has expanded to include over 500 commands designed to make machine operators more independent and more productive. She is able to listen to voice commands, provide instructional content, perform complex machine functions quickly and walk through vital checklists.

JobShop Cell PRO features an industrial grade, articulating FANUC 6-axis robot in a versatile aluminum enclosure which allows the RoboDrill to be placed on the left or right side, or in a twin cell with two machines. The coupling bolts shared a lot of engineering characteristics of their High Torque retention knobs for V-Flange tooling. Given that JMPP currently manufactures and stocks over 400 different styles of retention knobs, the ‘coupling bolt challenge’ was a good fit and melded with their production processes nicely.

In most applications, the focus is on ensuring that no outside contaminants get into a mechanical system, while in controlled areas and clean room production. The revised PSK ensures that no material makes it outside into the mechanical system. The precision ball screw nut and linear carriage assembly are sealed from both sides with Rexroth ball screw assembly seals. This detail significantly reduces the risk of lubricants escaping outside. 

The GYROFLEX offers the flexibility to meet a variety of production demands, from low production volume and parts prototyping to high-volume and high-mixed production. A single GYROFLEX requires reduced setup and changeover times and completes complex parts efficiently and accurately.

The Xtra·tec XT M5012 is highly cost-effective thanks to inserts being offered in a fully ground configuration for maximum precision, or fully sintered configuration for maximum cost efficiency. The bodies are offered in either ScrewFit or shell mount and with two pitches for different applications.
