When this cell is paired with Mitsubishi Electric M8 Series CNC, operators can use the Direct Robot Control (DRC) feature within the CNC controls to also control and program the robot with menus and G-code from the same screen used for the machine tool. No robot programming experience or teach pendant is required, allowing manufacturers to use existing staff to automate and make adjustments.

FlexMove Helical Plain Bend Conveyors also come with a patented side roller chain to reduce corner friction.

The MunchMan uses primary and secondary belts installed at the lower curve and through the incline and chip discharge areas of the system. These belts run in unison to grab chips, compress them and carry them securely up steep inclines. EcoAir® 325 Tool & Die Rust Preventative has proved to be a great development for molders. This ready- to-use vegetable oil/solvent-based liquid is packaged in EcoAir® spray cans that rely on compressed air rather than traditional aerosol propellants. It is easy to atomize over a large surface area such as the interior of a plastic injection mold or die. Unlike other mold savers that have a reputation for clogging mold pores and must be cleaned off before use, EcoAir® 325 Tool & Die Rust Preventative does not have to be removed. This makes it extremely easy to bring a mold out of shipping or storage and put into use immediately.

Each lightweight KCI 1319 / KBI 1335 encoder includes a 25 mm hollow shaft and inductive scanning technology that makes it insensitive to contamination and magnetic fields. The encoder communicates using the high speed EnDat 2.2 interface which also allows for additional information, such as temperature or diagnostics, to be communicated as well.
