BallFinishNose is an effective tool in finishing and semi-finishing, particularly on geometric surfaces and complex 3D contours common to die-mold or aerospace applications. The insert features a unique asymmetric shape. This design allows users to use the same side of the insert always facing the same direction when set in the tool body, providing the tool with high repeatable accuracy and reliability, surface quality and predictable tool life.

Available in diameters of 800 mm and 1200 mm (custom sizes per application requirements), the Series 800 offers a maximum swing of 1100 mm and max weight of 1500 kg for the fixture plate and components. The Series 1200 features a maximum swing of 1700 mm and weight of 2000 kg. Both models feature an RPM of 0 to 3 and are available in voltages of 220, 240, 380 and 480.

Starrett 2900 Series Indicators are equipped with RS232 output and compatible with 2900 SCM, SCU and SCKB cables, while Starrett W2900 Series Indicators, which have all the same features and capabilities of the 2900 series, are fully wireless and equipped to send data for SPC analysis at the push of a button with no cables required. Both the 2900 and W2900 series are available in ½ “, 1”, 2” ranges and new 4” range models, inch-metric models in 1/2", 1", 2" (12 mm, 25 mm and 50 mm) and metric only models in 12 mm, 25 mm and 50 mm ranges.

The DMH drill head features a fracture resistant design that is suitable for applications that involve drilling holes through thin-walled sections of workpieces. In normal circumstances, thin walls tend to spring back on the drill after the drill pierces through and exits the hole. In the process, uncut material shifts and forms exit burrs that impose extra burdens on the drill edge. These problems inflict damage on drill corners, shortening tool life. The DMH drill head’s geometry protects drill corners from fracture damage, providing extended tool life and reduced downtime.

DrillMeister drill sleeves are available in 16, 25, and 32 millimeters in diameters for metric sizes and 3/4 inches and one inch for imperial sizes that fit the drill holders of the same sizes equipped in Swiss lathes. All drill sleeves have a threaded connecting port on the sleeve end for easy coolant hose connection.

These WXN15 grade coated inserts are all introduced with a highly positive shaped geometry, which is particularly effective in machining ISO N materials. When used in advanced cutter bodies like the new Xtra·tec® XT M5468 button insert milling cutter, with G88 geometry, this also increases productivity when performing machining operations on deep shoulders with excellent chip removal.

Within the guide, users can choose between a variety of industries, including automotive, food & beverage, medical, plastics, electronics and metal industry, then drill down to almost any application environment. KUKA’s large family of robots are suited for applications requiring extreme precision and repetitive tasks with fast cycle times as well as for those within large foundry operations. Morph, Parallel, Along Curve, and Project Curve are no longer individual toolpaths. A significant increase in marking speed and marking quality on previously insufficiently markable materials are the main benefits of FOBA’s green laser. Affected materials include special plastics like UHMWPE, HDPE or PMMA for which additives might no longer be necessary, as well as glass or shiny substrates. Compared to other laser types like UV or fiber, the green laser shows better marking results while achieving superior marking speeds.

The TraceBoss software interfaces with most portable surface roughness gages via a USB connection. One click in TraceBoss configures the gage, initiates a measurement, and presents the results and graphics full screen and in high resolution. The software display is optimized for the highest visibility in shop environments.

The TurboBlast features a cast aluminum handle with a rugged elastomer grip that’s not only comfortable, but UV resistant, chemical resistant and insulated from heat or cold. The light touch activation trigger creates a powerful blast of air and also includes a “Dead Man’s” grip that turns air off if the air gun is dropped. All models include an integrated nozzle guard for safety. Models are available with an adjustable gate valve to control blowing force on the fly, or without the gate valve.

Safe for use on ferrous alloys when used as directed, ULTRA-CLEAN US-159 may etch or stain aluminum and zinc alloys, therefore pretesting before use is recommended.  Dilutions from 2-10% by volume in water that is 120-160° are typically effective.  Heavier soils and/or ultrasonic applications may benefit from operating at higher temperatures up to 190°F.  Follow cleaning step with a thorough ambient-to-warm water rinse.

Column construction uses stress relieved, class 40 cast iron, with the base and sides milled flat, perpendicular, and parallel within .001"/ft. providing an accurate foundation on which to setup workholding devices or quick-change systems. What does this spec translate to for customer use? Other features include a center locating bore, inch, and metric hole patterns, M12 lifting holes for secure hoist ring attachment.

Packed with versatility, one High Feed SP tool handles a complete range of high feed milling operations and materials. The tool optimizes such operations as copy milling, ramping, pocketing, face milling and plunging to further reduce tooling inventories. GN 742.5 Fluid/Fill Drain Plugs, GN 738.5 magnetic plugs and GN 7440 fluid sight glasses are made of AISI 316L (A4) stainless steel. Winco offers the premium sight glass in standard sizes from M16 to M42 and G⅜ to G1¼. Other thread diameters are available on request. Naturally, the same applies to the threaded plugs GN 742.5 and GN 738.5.

The 2700 Medium Duty hits the sweet spot between Dorner’s popular low profile 2200 and 3200 heavy duty platforms.
