This media has a patented shape without any flat, parallel surface areas. On the one hand this unique design prevents media lodging in the work pieces, which can occur particularly in case of complex work pieces. Such lodged media can severely affect the finishing process and must frequently be removed by hand. On the other hand, the shape with its rounded surface areas allows the surface refinement of work pieces, which to-date could not be handled by mass finishing at all or only with very complicated operational setups. This includes components with difficult-to-reach surface areas like tight radii, undercuts, notches and slits, which can frequently be found in stamped and bent components.

In an extremely compact form factor, the 24-mm-wide EL7062 EtherCAT Terminal contains two stepper motor output stages, two digital inputs for limit switches and one encoder interface per channel for a wide range of 5 V encoders. Via parameterization, the EL7062 flexibly adapts to the connected stepper motor and its corresponding application requirements. With regard to the input encoder signal, the module supports the entire spectrum of TTL encoders (5 V differential, single-ended/open collector). Very high-resolution microstepping ensures extremely smooth and precise motor operation.

The standard A2201 is an offset adaptor for reduced radial forces, greater stability and provides more space between the boring bar and the bore wall for improved chip removal with very deep bores. With the A3001 and the A2201 Walter has increased boring bar diameters to 2.5-4-in. and 60-100 mm.

The EM-30 product series (153 Ball BGA, 100 ball BGA option available) complies with e.MMC-5.1 specifications and is fully downward compatible. The small size-04 inserts also allow TungForce-Rec04 to have a higher teeth density than conventional shoulder cutters of the same size, boasting two teeth for an 8 mm diameter cutter and three for a 10 mm. This allows TungForce-Rec04 to run higher feed speed than competitors when being fed at the same rate per tooth, enabling increased productivity.

Utilizing an innovative PVD coating combined with a proprietary sub-micron substrate, G-9610 provides added productivity for turning titanium-based alloys. The smooth and lubricious coating is wear-resistant and chemically-stable, which helps to protect the heat-resistant substrate and allows for higher speeds and extended tool life in continuous cuts.

As WDS clevis linkages are designed to the DIN and ISO standards, this ensures fit across the widest range of applications. The range is also suited to new machines and retrofit with a design that allows for greater flexibility in alignment. The clevis fork and eye connection enables a margin of movement, which is particularly useful for easily linking two components in hydraulic and pneumatic applications where precise alignment can be challenging to achieve.

PBF is the most mature additive manufacturing technology for industrial production and represents 86 percent of the worldwide machine install base. When parts rotate without calibration, increased or insufficient pressure occurs, causing errors with the end-product. When the fine tolerances have been exceeded, the result can be expensive and time-consuming repairs.

For job shops that are mass-producing small parts with Swiss lathes, minimizing material waste in the part-off process can be an extremely effective solution for cost savings. The 1.2 mm-wide (.047″-wide) grooving inserts can reduce the material waste produced by parting-off by up to 40% when compared with using 2.0 mm-wide (.079″-wide) insert. This translates to, after 2,500 cuts, the saving of a 2,000 mm-long (78.74″ long) bar stock.
