Mazak showcases low-cost-per-part technology at precision show
At the 2021 Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS) scheduled for Aug. 10 to 12 in Cleveland, Mazak will highlight some of its latest high-output, cost-effective and space-saving machine tool technology.
ToolConnect Barcode Application
The ToolConnect barcode application uses a barcode scanner at the machine tool to scan the presetter generated barcode. ToolConnect reads and processes the barcode data, displays all tool and process information and then automatically updates the offsets to the correct fields in the control. No operator data entry is required.
Alumigator ASR-5 End Mill
This revolutionary new end mill boasts an unequal indexing configuration that reduces chatter for the optimized high efficiency milling of Aluminum Alloys. Designed and engineered from the Alumigator family of high performance aluminum mills, the 5 flute configuration with polished flutes can achieve metal removal rates in excess off 100 cubic inches per minute. Many countries are moving to end the sales of fossil-fueled cars, and auto manufacturers are experimenting with electric vehicle technology to meet these requirements. The trend may have an impact on cutting tool sales, according to a new post by ANCA, a manufacturer of cutting tools.

1/8 NPT Siphon Fed No Drip Nozzle
EXAIR's No Drip Siphon Fed Atomizing Nozzles are available in round and flat fan liquid patterns. The volume of liquid flow depends on either the gravity or suction height coupled with air pressure. All of EXAIR's spray nozzles, which include nozzles for pressure fed applications, are composed of 303 stainless steel adding durability and corrosion resistance. They are available with 1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 NPT inlets with a variety of styles, flow rates and liquid patterns. Mounting brackets are also available for easy installation in specific areas on product lines. They are CE compliant and conflict mineral free.
