Flash PMI: Japan manufacturing growth at eight-month low on falling exports demand
Japan's manufacturing activity has fallen to an eight-month low in July, according to IHS Markit survey results. The Nikkei Flash Japan Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) for July is calculated to be a seasonally adjusted 52.2, following a 52.4 level in June.
SmartFlex Helix Conveyor
The new SmartFlex Helix conveyor from Dorner Manufacturing Corp. features a proprietary flexible chain manufactured by FlexMove, a Dorner Holding Co., located in Penang, Malaysia. The SmartFlex Helix can operate in a footprint as small as a 10' x 10', and is ideal for product handling applications where product needs to travel up or down in a confined space.
Carbon Dioxide Laser Optics
A line of CO2 laser optics optimized for cutting and etching thin metals when fabricating filters, strainers and related applications is available from Laser Research Optics.
