GENOS M560-V Vertical Machining Center
The new GENOS M560-V vertical machining center from Okuma America Corp. combines a new high column design and CAT 40 BIG-PLUS spindle to cut large, complex parts. The large work envelope minimizes restrictions on workpieces, tool lengths and the rotary table.

HEIDENHAIN Corp. offers the current version of TNCremo software package for communication between PCs and HEIDENHAIN controls or programming stations via direct online download. Past versions were only available on DVD.
WS40PM Milling Grade
WS40PM's cobalt-rich substrate provides robust fatigue resistance and edge integrity, while the multiphase AlTiN-TiN PVD coating reduces tool wear, making it suitable for a range of high-temp steel alloys, austenitic and PH stainless steels, nickel-based superalloys such as Hastelloy and Nitronic, and titanium.
Mill 4-11 Indexable Milling Cutter
Kennametal is expanding its Mill 4 family with a new cutting tool, the Mill 4-11. Designed for smaller machining centers, the Mill 4-11 accommodates 40-taper CAT and BT, HSK 50 and similarly-sized spindles. Due to its free-cutting capabilities, it is ideal for successful metal removal in less-than-rigid setups and on light-duty machine tools, multitaskers and live-tool lathes.
ENA-S Stand-alone Mist Collection System
ENA-S from Keller USA Inc. is a stand-alone mist collection system for individual machining centers that has an operating airflow range of 600 to 1,500 cfm (183 to 457 cu. m/min.), which is suitable for wet machining. The system has floor-accessible filter stages and a footprint of less than 2.5'×2.5' (0.76m × 0.76).
Trident-2 Diamond Cutting Head
Barton International says its Trident-2 diamond cutting head for waterjet machines offers the advantages of an integrated-diamond design with the versatility of a replaceable-orifice cartridge. The diamond cartridge is machined around a simulated jet stream to ensure exact orifice-to-nozzle alignment.
Simotics S-1FG1 Servo Geared Motors
Siemens has expanded its drive portfolio for servo applications to include the Simotics S-1FG1 servo geared motors, which are for use with the Sinamics S120 drive system. Sinamics S120 drives and Simotics S-1FG1 servo geared motors are an integral component of Siemens Totally Integrated Automation (TIA), which reportedly reduces engineering time and costs.

Eriez' latest innovation in metal detector technology, SmartX7Link software, gives users the power to remotely monitor, control and download logs for one or more Eriez Xtreme metal detectors. Remote access is available from anywhere within the local network in which the metal detector resides.

ServoBelt rotary stages from Bell Everman are compact, high-torque rotary stages that offer through hole size and speed comparable to direct-drive rotary tables costing thousands more, according to the company.
STCR/L-CHP Toolholder
Tungaloy Corp. announces the expansion of TetraForceCut, the grooving tool series with four-cornered inserts: the STCR/L-CHP toolholder with a coolant hole for high-pressure internal coolant supply. (Max. 2,000 psi.) The new STCR/L-CHP toolholder delivers ample coolant to the optimal position of the cutting edge through the coolant hole, achieving stable and long tool life.
PHT Series Welded Tombstone Columns
Powerhold Inc. announces the release of its new PHT series welded tombstone columns for horizontal machining centers. The PHT Series are steel plate weldments, available in 400, 500 and 630 mm base sizes.
