B3220 Boring Cartridge
Walter has broadened its line of boring tools with the introduction of the B3220 boring cartridge for axial-radial offset roughing (ARS), expanding on previous methods that were either symmetrical or asymmetrical.

QP5X-400 Vertical Machining Center
Chevalier's QP5X-400, a 40-taper, high-speed VMC that features 5-axis simultaneous or 4+1 axis applications. The standard machine is integrated with 2-axis, 12.6" trunnion table. The new QP5X-400 has better accuracy, more productivity, less manpower, less cycle time and higher profitability, according to the company.

YG-1 Tool Co. says it has changed the way you will look at general-purpose endmills. With YG-1's superior substrate and YG-1's proprietary coating on its GP endmills, the tools impart a fine surface finish on workpieces and extend tool life at a competitive price.
Top Loader Loading System
WALTER says it offers a completely new type of loading system for new machines of the types HELITRONIC MINI POWER, HELITRONIC DIAMOND EVOLUTION and HELITRONIC ESSENTIAL. The new space-saving and cost-effective automation solution "Top loader" is integrated directly into the machine, therefore requiring no additional floor space and no restriction of the working envelope of the machine.
XYZ Xpansion Pins
Mitee-Bite Products releases the patent pending Modular XYZ Xpansion Pins for tombstone, grid plate and fixture plate applications. They provide accurate location, repeatability and high holding forces for securing parts and components on the ID.
ActiveEdge Boring Tool
Rigibore's ActiveEdge is an automatically adjustable boring tool, allowing a close tolerance bore diameter to be maintained without the need for an operator's intervention. This innovative system allows micron-accurate adjustments to be made on up to five individually adjustable cutting edges on the boring tool.
Mycenter-HX250G Horizontal Machining Center
Kitamura's Mycenter-HX250G HMC offers up a small footprint with ultrahigh level accuracies. This unique powerhouse has a standard two-station APC with full 4-axis capabilities for drilling, milling, boring, tapping, threading and much more. A standard high-speed 15,000-rpm, dual-contact spindle is ideal for tougher cuts with a 30,000-rpm option for more highly intricate part processing.
