CHAMIQDRILL
The ISCAR Chameleon line is back and it's bigger with a diameter range from 1.3"-1.57". The new innovative CHAMIQDRILL employs a new insert positioning and locking mechanism that eliminates the need for clamps or screws commonly found on drills for larger diameters. This design allows for easy indexing on the machine to reduce setup.

The Inspection Arsenal Loc-N-Load quick-swap fixture system from Phillips Precision Inc. can now be ordered with air assist. Let your CMM and fixture plates do the heavy work. With a flip of a switch and one pinky finger, inspectors can easily glide the weight of an anvil across the granite.
sPINner Deburring Machine
The sPINner machine from Techniks Industries quickly batch deburrs dozens of small parts. sPINner pin media deburrs where other media cannot reach and eliminates manual deburring, according to the company.
Parting Blade Adapters
Walter has introduced new parting blade adapters for BMT/DO machines that ensure precision cooling of both the insert and the parting blade, thus improving chip control and tool life, and helping to increase productivity. With the Walter design, the coolant flows through the adapter directly into and through the parting blade to the cutting zone.
B700 Drop Bed Machine
UNISIG engineered its new B700 Drop Bed machine to effectively generate the critical, high-precision features on large and irregularly shaped aerospace components, such as landing gear struts. Conversely, the flexibility of the machine allows it to also process medium-sized, more uniform-shaped workpieces with minimal changeover time from one to another.
CAMWorks 2016
Geometric Ltd. announced the addition of automated "Machine to the Mean" capabilities when working with Solidworks parts and assembly files that contain tolerance—or geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T)—information.
Special Dual-Contact Toolholder
Briney Tooling Systems worked closely with a manufacturer to develop a special dual-contact, CAT 50, stick turning toolholder for an Okuma MacTurn 550 mill/turn center. The customer had some special turning stick tools that were 1.5-inches square and there was no standard for the lathe stick tools.
CleverClamp System
The basic rails of the CleverClamp system are calibrated to fit the EROWA UPC and EROWA MTS production tooling systems. The range of clamping elements can be quickly positioned on the serrated base rails and be used either horizontally or vertically.
Cold Air Guns
Vortec cold air guns use vortex tube technology and filtered compressed air to produce sub-freezing air as low as -30 deg F (-34 deg C) for numerous industrial spot cooling applications. With no moving parts to wear out, cold air guns require no electricity at the target, just a compressed air source.
